Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon

Extremely fruit forward. Blackberry and earthy aromas. Blackcurrant on the palette. Nothing special or standout with this wine. Gastronomic wine to be paired with beef or gamey meats.

Smooth, fruity but not too sweet.

Damn good. Not over the top on the berries at all. A great wine.

Full bodied needs a little time to open up

Remember I don’t know much about wine, but I taste all phases of tobacco; from live in the field, to just before it turns to ash. This is suspended in turpentine, but in a good way. Color Dark Cherry. Nose rose. Medium tannins unremarkable.

Enjoyed this very much. I like St. Francis wines and loved their Merlot when I first started drinking wine. Would buy again.
