Unique expression. Considerable brett, right up to my threshold, meaty and animal, savory, tar and leather about. Its got time still, but the powerful Serralunga tannins hold strong despite their grace. Love this vintage and the spine of acid it carries, really lively and nervous wines. Solid by all means

Jan 17th, 2020classic and gorgeous expressive barolo nose. heavy on the tar, rich bouquet of flowers / rose petal, ripe red fruit, some savory leafy quality like basil. on the palette this is still a younger 15 year old wine , fruit is fresh and tannins are young and grippy. a lot of that savory leafy / foresty quality. expressive and classic with 1 hour decant but wondering if day 2 will bring more complexity.
