Deep garnet in color. On the nose dried roses, leather, eucalyptus, cedar box, and black cherries. On the palate earthy red currants, dried oregano, umami rich mushrooms and a touch of wet slate. Very balanced in acid, fruit and tannins. Took a minute to get into full stride.
