I would name this fruit and jam instead of silk and spice. This Portuguese wine is smooth and jammy with a hint of vanilla. Deep purple in color and definitely on the sweeter side for a blend.

Rich chocolate aroma hits the nose hard. Deep dark fruits and blueberries, vanilla, and sweet wood with subtle baking spices. Subtle mint, but might be searching for it. Borderline off-dry, deep purple/ruby, medium tannin and acidity. Smooth. Call me uncultured, but I call this delicious.
