Love this Chenin Blanc. I'm not usually one for demi-sec or off-dry, but this bottle catalyzed my willingness to try a host of other wines I'd not otherwise have considered. Originally bought in Minneapolis, sought out again in Chicago, driving 35 min to get the last few bottles in the metro area.

Lovely vibrant, delightful and smooth Chenin, balancing the edge of dry/semidry (4.8g/l RS). Skin contact.

Intense straw to emerald color.
Aromas of haystack in morning fog, unripe melon, cat's pee (gosh, did I say that?), quince, lime, tomato leaf.
Medium-bodied very well balanced palate with vivid acidity. Flavored by green apple, pineapple, pomelo, gooseberry, guava. Touch of sea minerals.
Aftertaste of citrus peels bitterness & kiwi juiciness.
Paired seabass baked in vellum with mixed spices + lemon.
