One of the best I've ever tried from #siduri Sweet raspberry and cherry. Just killer Pinot.

While for the most part I think Siduri is just OK, this is a very nice Pinot from Pisoni's vineyard. Slight oaky nose, then cherry cola all the way through. Medium body. A tad sweet but otherwise a great and balanced effort. Interested to see if a few years will tame the sweetness.

I bought this after reading princeofpinot review; my first experience with this wine. Lately I have been drinking Kistler/ Occidental, Marcassin, Aubert and a few random Calera pinots and the Suduri was a bit different in character; seemed more burgundian in style. Was elegant, but less fruit forward than Kistler et.al , more restrained? Reminded me of a few Rochhioli West Blocks and early Williams Selyem from years gone by. A very nice pinot at any price point and I wish I had more of it.
