Barossa Valley Carignane

Right place right time and this will work wonders. On its own its too big, too idiosyncratic. Tastes like ragu, heavy on the thyme. Incredibly savoury, amazing texture- but crying out for the right meal.

So easy to love. Pure spicy red fruit. Glug glug glug

2014 Carignane from Shobbrook in the Barossa. Rich, soft, deep -and soulful. 12.5% a little green and stewy, but fun to drink

Good dark fruit, chocolate, charred smoky notes, meaty. Good full mouthful, spicy, peppered, dark fruit, liq. Good.

Earthy , robust but still prevails with freshness
