Sine Die Aglianico del Vulture

Dried dark fruits and leather on the nose, high tannin, and high acid. This craves food, for me, wanting dishes as complex and rich as the wine itself. With 11 years in the bottle it has mellowed considerably, yet it remains bold, bright, and nuanced.
