Limpid ruby-red. Smoky, mineral-accented aromas of black raspberry, cherry cola and incense carry a strong spicecake overtone. Stains the palate with sappy red berry liqueur, spicecake and floral pastille flavors that are lifted and given definition and tension by juicy acidity. At once rich and nervy, with no excess fat but showing excellent depth and intensity of flavor. Ripe juicy blackberries, dark cherries, dark raspberries, cherries, strawberries on the edges of the palate, medium spice; clove & nutmeg, cinnamon, faint vanilla, red florals, round lush dark wet earth, soft grainy minerality, very nice acidity, good structure, balance, length and full, ripe, round, rich, finish.

I’m still trying to figure out Oregon Pinot Noir. Lots to like in this bottle...lively, youthful, concentrated red cherry with spice and herbs. Will be interesting to revisit over the next 5-10 years.
