100% Obaideh. Reductive and nutty. Maher grows vines biodynamically, vinifies in a minimalist way with long lees aging, inert tanks, low sulfite only at bottling, wild yeast, etc. One of the firsts in Lebanon.

Obeideh is a grape I’m pretty sure I’ve never had before. From the Békaa Valley in Lebanon the nose there’s a really lovely salinity, lemon sorbet, green apple, thyme. Palate also has a really lovely salinity, taught acidity with some bitter almond on the finish. but like a cross between a Xarelo/Muscadet/Listan Branco.
