This was red fruit, spice, earth and a touch of funk. Really lovely and worked stellar with Malloreddus. A classic pairing really.

This is a seriously good wine, great deep ruby color, wonderful aroma and the taste is smooth but pronounced. Was not familiar with this wine and what a pleasant surprise. Will get more if I can find it

Very enjoyable, a smooth dry red, subtle oak, nice finish.

Thanksgiving wine #8. Always a fave. Wish I had brought more of this back, it just keeps getting richer, rounded.

Pure Funk. The first bottle might have been corked but the second bottle was just as funky. Although once you get used to it it's pretty good.

Interesting wine, it kind of grows on you and before long I learnt to like it.

Pleasantly funky on both the nose and pallet. Aromas of burnt rubber and violets. Flavors of Sour ripe cranberry, plums Earth, tobacco, balsamic, licorice and a hint of barnyard and wild herbs. Chewy and spicy. Long finish and round tannins. Nice! Revisited in October 2020. Still interesting and delicious!
