Seghesio Family Vineyards
Cortina Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel
Good fruit, easy to drink. A bit high on the alcohol, but it's not overwhelming.

May 26th, 2015I usually like lighter reds but this surprised me positively. Balanced, slightly spicy and quite suave wine. We pared this with hard cheeses.

Dec 25th, 2014Dark purple and exuding aromas of blueberries, blackberries and white pepper. A dense core of cedar, black olives, cola and plum compote. There is a glycerin feel on the front palate but along the way is balanced by acidity and gritty graham cracker like finish.
