Double decant and pour(lots and lots of sediment). A splendid still dark murky ruby red color. On the nose: very aeromatic notes of perfumed red fruit, forest floor, eucalyptus, smoked meat, mushroom. Taste: silky, savory, elegant wine with a little dark cherry/plum, loamy soil, mocha, tobacco, and an earthy licorice medium plus finish. YUM! Got to be patient with Seavey, but worth the wait.
