XXIV. Epic. Sean Thackery knows what he's doing! This new blend is so smooth. It is a definite glug-glug wine. All kinds of fruits. Absolutely delicious.

I like this wine. I do.

For around $20 you can pick this bottle up too. The color is a lame ruby (lame as in not bright, not not cool) and the nose has red fruits and a ton of black pepper and other spices.

The palate, meanwhile, shows off tarter red fruit and even more of that crazy black pepper. There's little acid to carry the wine through and the finish seemingly drops off a bit on the finish and palate.

This field blend is a hell of a deal, I just rant around the middle.

Biggest and newest Pleiades. Kirsch dominates but there's subtle complexity behind the big fruit

Strange. Smells like my mother's home-made blackcurrent juice; it largely tastes of it as well. The combination of varietals (white and red) produce a very distinct, powerfully fruity, and superficially pleasing wine. It's also very long indeed. However, i find the nose slightly nauseating - there's something unholy about it. I love experimental wines and this is better than many, but it's not tannic enough for my taste, and it's too sweet. The last 1/3 (length on palate) is very good but all round it's just a but too confused. As if Vladimir Putin and the feeling you get from rubbing a cat against the hairs had a baby. Intriguing and full of character, yet impossible and infuriating at the same time.

Curious to see what this does with some time, but tons of acid made this very gulpable and it was fun to see the fruit evolve in the glass.
