Day 4 in Napa in the books! Running a day behind on notes...Napa time runs slow AND fast!
Incredible stuff and a treat to try next to the ‘09. This has turned more honeyed and savory...hazelnut, baked bread, honeycomb, roasted macadamias with great depth and acidity.

Drinks like the big boys....because it is!!! Reviewed this wine about 5 months ago and although it was doing nicely, something in it seemed to wake up between then and now. I would give this a solid 95 today based on the second bottle opened tonight. Tiny bubbles. About 80% oxidative style, starting with brioche and bread pudding character with a little bit of green apple tart on the finish. Lovely. The last one did not seem to be nearly as complex. I think my third and final bottle this is doomed.....
