So good, high acid on the front, chocolate on the back. How can one have both?

Blackberry jam. Blueberries. Fluid in the mouth and approachable.

Nonvintage, so I don't know how old this is. Horribly flawed with VA.

I Ordered 3 bottles directly from the vineyard. I'm not sure if they were corked, but all three were the same.

Dark inky in color with a deep purple rim.

Very unattractive nose with acetone, petrol, cherries, strawberries, light vanilla and black pepper.

Medium plus in body and smooth, with high acidity and great looking legs.

Extremely tart on the palate and dry with grapefruits, cherries, red currants, strawberries, dark plums and licorice.

Short finish with firm tannins and sour cherries.

Not drinkable at all in my opinion . Very disappointing. I Could not find the Petite Sirah in it or the Cabernet. Not sure if this is a bad batch of bottles or the wine just tastes horrible.

14.56% alcohol by volume.

Always have a hard time wrapping my head around these wines.

It was definitely interesting as all of Abe's stuff is, but it had tons of VA which was a little off-putting. However, the cork may have been compromised. Hard to tell with their wines.
