First time trying Saxum and this was a real treat! Wine was a bright ruby red. Very clean and softened up since we cracked it, definitely had a touch of red fruit. We were really surprised by the moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) on this 2004. Moderate plus body with an initial dark fruit attack that complete covered the front of the palate. Very well integrated and silky smooth. Long lingering finish. Great body and tannins makes this wine seem like a 2009 or 2010. Very enjoyable, wish we had more! Drink till 2020.

Very juicy, bright red fruits are balanced by a sure but unobtrusive acidity. Plush and full, with a lingering finish as the spectrum of strawberries, raspberries, and redcurrants fill the senses. Very nicely made and satisfying. 2004 vintage.

Some nice age on this one. Just right now. Kind of an earthy undertone but went very well with the cheese.

Fantastic. Beautiful aged nose, blackberries, roasted plum, great structure, vibrant fruit, nice back palate acidity, just gorgeous.

Honestly disappointing… Maybe the hype was too much

Couldn't quite put a finger on the nose. Maybe baby food left in the barn. Still, swirl, swirl, swirl, drink. Magnificent.
