Primarily (85%) Carmenere with some Syrah (10%) and Carignan (5%) blended in. Deep ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of dark berry fruit, forest floor and minerals. Blackberry, black plum and black currant fruit flavors with notes of dark chocolate, graphite and tobacco. Very long and pleasant silky finish. Rounded tannins, nicely structured and quite expressive. Medium body (not overly powerful) but extremely well balanced. Very pleasant surprise. Thanks for sharing, Chris B!
