Dark ripe fruit with hints of dark chocolate. A bit hot but not noticeable.

2013. Highly rated but stemmy and quite disappointing, actually.

Nice deep color and pronounced tannins, but a bit lacking in fruit.

inky color. Nicely tannic with plummy fruit. Should continue to improve, but very nice now. 2014 vintage

Decanted this for a couple of hours to let the dampness blow off. Really showed nicely. Black and blue berries, spice, inky, intense. Hard to remember a more impressive wine just under twenty.
