A huge wine with a silky finish. I never knew that Grenache could be so bold. Superlatives do not do this wine justice.

Great QPR wine with amazing mouth feel. Great now, better in 1-2 years.

2009 La Pierre Noire - Saint Jean du Barroux.
Decanted >12h.
Starts to bring real enjoyment and will still improve over the next years. Beautiful impressive Nose! Dark Cherry, dark Chocolate, much aromatic provencal roasted spices, licorice and some lavender.
On the palate elegant and worm, the flavors from the the nose can be found again. The tanins start to get smooth. Perfect wine for the Christmas Time!
