I decanted this wine for at least an hour before I drank it. It opened up nicely, had a beautiful nose - smelled fruity/jammy. It had everything you would expect from a good Malbec - A very smooth and silky sweet flavor, compounded by an incredibly smooth finish. I'm pretty biased though...I love Malbecs. For the price this is an exceptionally good wine. Paired it with prime rib - outstanding meal.
