Tried this along with the 08 and 2010. All were medicore. Could taste the brett in all of them. Time ain't gonna do those wines any favors. I never had Ruffino before, and was excited because they get 36 mos in barrel. Too bad they were lacking and out of balance; higher pH, overly tannic, nose and palate dominated by Brettanomyces.

Lovely notes of maturity (cigar wrapper) creeping into this 2009. Super ripe fruits yet provocatively drinkable thanks to solid acidity.

Nariz: cereza, especies secas, cuero, tabaco, brea
Boca: Seco, Tanino M, Acidez M, Alcohol M/M+.
Muy buena nariz, pero en boca al final se queda un poco corto.
