Very good. Paired with bison beef chili (canellini beans, onion, tomato sauce) served over ziti.

2010 vintage. Initial cherry on nose dissipated quickly for me; flat aromas disappointing. Palate was a better bet, juicy and ripe with fruit with medium tannins and nice weight. Woodsy, spicy. Mmm.

Great luscious everyday wine! Balanced and friendly, smooth and velvety but not particularly fruity. Cherry but a little oaky. Matured so not too early to open
