Shouldn’t we rate more wines on drinkability? I’d enjoyed a glass or two of other wines over dinner and then opened this as a reliable partner for the evening. I’m now finishing the bottle. On my own 🙁 /😋 Yes the Germans haven’t caught burgundy up but this still is a satisfying pinot at an affordable price. It’s fairly light on its feet, carries a twist of spice and is more savoury than new world pinot pretenders. Mission accomplished.

Beautiful transparent reddy purple. Lifted aromatics, mid-weight and nice soft acidity that beckons another sip. Tasty and good value.
