Not terribly weighty, but nice flavors. Good effort, tough vintage.

Hot and pricey! Enjoyed more than their Estate Red.

Another great example of the 2011-vintage in Napa.

From the damned 2011 vintage comes another stellar cabernet! Pours with a purple hue. Blackberry and rhubarb nose. Youthful dense fruit. Compared to a 14 Insignia and an 11 Schrader LPV this one was probably the biggest on the table. The middle turns a little darker with black pepper showing through. The finish has resolving tannin and is on the softer side but lots of things going on here. Hint of herb, chocolate, black fruit. Complex and lovely. Going to appreciate over the next 7 to 10.

Definitely Oakville. Good but it is hard for me to drink these young cabs anymore.

Still young for this wine. Big and bold, a bit overpowering.

Really nice drink. My last bottle was better. This one needed some more time to mature. Balanced notes but a little thin on the finish. Definitely one of my more favorite wines in the price range.
