Overdone. Too much oak, too sugared fruit, not a wisp of acid to connect the fruit and oak. Smelled nice though with a smoked blueberry core.

Drink em if you got em...over the hill, unfortunately. As much as I like them young, starting to think these wines don't age very well...decanter was the wrong choice. Not much of anything going on, little bit of this & that and a stemmy greenness. overall, thin, lacking concentration and no finish. Left half in the decanter covered, smelled spoiled when I got home.

Black cherry with some nice earthy notes. Not fruit bomb, more austere than I would've expected. But good, balanced.
