First of the three Pinot Noirs sent to us by Chris. Strong garnet red with a moderate intensity. More opaque than the Yamhill Springs. Nose was subtle to start with some bright red cherries and opened up to some purple floral notes, cherry cola and an undertone of forest floor. The floral notes definitely took over as time went on. Palate was coated in cherries with undertones of lavender and herbs like sage. Moderate acidity (7/10) with a smoother and more rounded moderate body than the Yamhill Springs. Moderate plus finish. Great experience with some single vineyard Pinots! Drink till 2019.
