A very distinctively-styled Neb. The nose suggests a very lean wine: cracked stone minerality holds sway over tart, crisp chokecherry scents. A hint of spice. In the mouth, it is lean, but surprisingly weighty and long. Austere in the best sense. Great length, purity, and acidity. Would be absolutely phenomenal with a rich beef tomato and red wine braise. Excellent value.

Nutty (not eccentric, but pignoli-y), nice red berry fruit, moderate tannin, warm, juicy and nice.
