Smells like berries. Almost transparent garnet. Dry with a hint of sweetness. Trace of tobacco before a finish that moves from acidic to tingle. Approachable. My house wine because it doesn't overwhelm any dish, and is easy to drink on it's own. Have paired with balsamic vinaigrette with citrus & greens to pasta marinara. An inexpensive, simple red table wine that doesn't complicate other dishes.
