Watching the Dark Knight Rises alone. This is my date. Very surprising, open for business on pop and pour. Velvet smooth, plenty of stuffing, no heat, very well made young wine. Props to TRB.

Drinking well. Powerful aromatics, a core of earthy flavors in the mid palate. Some dark fruit up front. A big wine but not overblown or out of balance.

Thirty minutes of air and this is in the right place, depth and acidity, absolute fruit purity, could have maybe shown a little more structure to buffer the soft and velvety side, but damn it's great now.

Opened and let aerate in the glass for about 2 hours. Boysenberry and bright blue fruits on the nose. Good ripeness. Touch of oak but nothing overpowering. Soft tannins. Very easy drinking. Solid Cali cab

Dark, inky color. Big jammy nose with the slightest note of heat. Sweet dark fruit, cherry jam, cocoa, leathery tones. Long, long finish. Very nice.
