Medicinal and fruit sweet aromas reminiscent of Saint Joseph. A bit chalky with delicate spiced finish.

Poses a spicy nose with a wild feeling of prunes and red table grapes. Palate is black currant, red plum, coffee. You can tell that there is a long going on here, plus a medium long finish. Pure with berry fruit. Young. I expect complexity to come with age as is typical with Geyserville. $38 at winery.

Herbs and ripe, vibrant fruit collide here. The nose shows some smoked cedar and palat is much more dynamic than the nose would suggest. Though I believe the East Bench Zin from them to be more ready to drink, this should develop nicely and gain depth and it ages.

A rather elegant Zinfandel blend. Opened up more on the 2nd day.

Not usually a Zinfandel fan, but was recommended this bottle by Hawksmoor John. Fabulous, elegant, beautifully balanced, white pepper, cherries, spice and strong fruits. Decant for a couple of hours. Really worth investigating.

Tight, tight, tight. Not as approachable as 2013 when it was just released. Still the only Zin I actually want to drink.
