Just a very enjoyable glass of wine. I've never really been disappointed by a Ridge offering. They're always so stylistically correct. This one has just the perfect zin nose. So herbal and fresh even six years after the vintage. Complexity on the pallate. This was wonderful with our roast pork Sunday dinner.

Not drinking much Zin these days - and this is no Ridge Geyserville blend, which is my standout - but it's a solid wine.

Very jammy, black currant dominates. Too sweet and simple, needed more structure. I expected more complexity from Ridge.
