This is some beautiful stuff. Medium body, so even keeled, old world, newish oak and terroir and acid. Tremendous for it's youth.

Harder than other wines in the line up. Enormous structure and hard youth, roasting pig and bacon, hot chili pepper, some humming acid and quite assertive tannin. Although 20 plus years old, some of the youngest vines in Ridge’s portfolio and showing their ruggedness. Great, rustic, ballsy.

Amazing what 2 years does. Much more elegant and even tempered. Tannins well integrated, pronounced American Oak, dried raspberry, dried cherry. Acidity toes the whole palate together. Remarkable as always.

Bittersweet, tannic, food friendly and almost like Alsace with tire and band aid aroma. Pronounced fruit in the mid palate and a dry finish.
