I’ve been looking forward to trying Leroy for a long time. It is an amazing wine as it is poured, and it develops a rather quick multidimensional flourishing in the glass before moving into realms of varying volatility. Blistering acidity and so many aromatics, from stupendous to stern. What a wine, amazing and quite refined on its warp speed towards vinegar and wildness. Very Chenin and very natural.

2014 - nutty on the finish at first, so much so I was worried that this had a touch of souris. It Incorporated itself into the wine, giving an interesting oxidative quality to the wine. Brazil nut skin to almond brittle. Wine and all those stunning Anjou Chenin characteristics. I'm curious about folks who have had thess wines a bit older (I've had them back only to 2012) to see how they evolve.. taught, powerful, looong. A really interesting wine worth coming back to again and again.

A vinegary mess. Have never tasted a flaw like this that I recall. Opened a couple weeks ago, just getting to the note

An intense nose of honey and oxidative notes. In the mouth hazelnuts, light tropical notes and supercharged acidity.
