Galloni summed it up perfectly. This crushes it as an appellation blend, even though it's all sourced from a single vineyard.

Drinking really well, pomegranate and plum, grippy tannins, mineral driven finish, #onfire, dare I say better than the Bearwallow

A new bottling from Rhys. 100% Bearwallow Vineyard fruit, declassified and bottled as Anderson Valley Appellation. Nice to have a Rhys for earlier drinking while the SV bottlings rest for a decade.

Flowery plum aroma leaps from the glass and envelopes ones' senses in perfume; well integrated tannins coat the front palate - red fruits, raspberry, red cherry. Will benefit with some time, but drinks great now!

From Coravin. Super tasty after a long days screening patients for coronaviruses. Looks like it will have many more years.

Very well made wine, but I’ve yet to have a Rhys that isn’t. Balanced with a great mouthfeel and flavor. Cherry, dark cherry, apple jolly rancher, rose petal. Acid on the front, mid and back ends, but perfect in all respects with a bit of spice. Delicious.

Very solid Pinot. Red fruit good structure. Will continue to flourish with more time.
