St. Joseph Syrah

This is a chugable wine.

This was a fantastic vintage of this wine. Brine/black olive with a refreshing, acidic backbone. A joyful Syrah!

From magnum. Was quite muted, perhaps deserving of a decanter and some patience.

Dark fruits, meat, blood, iron, green olive with spice & violet

Tart black red & black cherry, perfume of lavender, violets, black olive & meat.

Pitrou vyd. Very floral with violets, lavender & smoked meats.
