Wonderfully transparent labeling; it’s clear from their terroir and the label notes that they are seeking a Californian cool-weather Burgundian style. Oyster shell mineral, tart citrus and green melon + apple on the nose. Wonderful Chablisenne acidity on the palate, soft buttery notes and some spice on the finish from restrained application of new oak. Lovely wine and solid QPR at $38 for such a boutique production winery.
