A well-made wine though lacking in balance of alcohol. The heat shows through although it is not very bad just moderately noticeable. Good spicy earth and classic California Cabernet profile.

Agree w @Barry Herbst — wow. Still has lots of life to go at almost 30 years old. Stewed cranberries, prunes, and some tannins.

Another nice bottle with Christmas dinner. Rich cherry and lightly earthy, tarry note. Soft, rich fruit on the palate. Fruit lingers well. Drink now or hold for 5-10 years.
