2021 vintage. New Zealand’s South Island continues to deliver. Light berry hue in color, rustic red almost brick red at the rim. Vanilla, spice, with a touch of smoke on the nose, blackberry and cherry on the palette. Medium to low bodied, smooth finish, paired exceptionally well with barbecue chicken breast, asparagus, and sweet potato. Would definitely enjoy again.

Pale ruby in color; cherries, hibiscus, and cloves on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like raspberries, tart cherries, and wet slate with a long finish. Nellie doesn't like it (she says it's tart and chimically), but I love it.
