Reserva Vinhas Velhas Douro Red Blend

Based on old vines, character and pure Douro energy

Showing nice secondary notes with age. However, still a bit hot (14.5%), and not very complex. Enjoyable.

A ripe and dark nose of plummy, rich fruit with spice. The palate is lush and thick in texture, with tobacco, rustiness, raisins. This is, unsurprisingly, port-like with real character. Not the most elegant , but good.

Quite alcoholic with a plummy, hot nose. Nice fruit. Tobacco.
