Casablanca Valley Pinot Noir
Casablanca Valley, Aconcagua, Chile
Sommelier, International Wine Guild; Balistreri Vineyard; Sales, Joy Wine and Spirits
The nose on this wine smells like cow shit and bandaids and some super sweet strawberries. The palate is as polished as the label. A value for pinot, but only for pinot.

Barnyard and bandaid the first night. So much funk it was off putting. Better the second night but still not my wine style. Don’t want to revisit this one.

Feb 17th, 2021Vibrant acidity, almost Clementine. Some green apple. Nice balanced cherry plum notes. Not over powering yet complex. Fun.
