Dark, earthy, musky herbs, and some smoky Brett. So savory. Chewier, less linear tannins than CC. I feel like there's some tasty Sangiovese fruit underneath all the earth and funk

My favorite wine experience--a complex, dry, but palettable red alongside the nicest dinner on our honeymoon: a many-course meal across from Paul Revere's house in Boston. Tough to beat. And until it IS beat, it'll remain a 10.

Not sure that I like this wine. Could be that it doesn't go well with seafood. Maybe it's the acidic taste.

Deep berry notes and herbaceous palate! Smooth believer finish.

green pepper and mushrooms on the nose shows the merlot coming through. On the palate, without food, you get the full, sharp sangiovese with the acidic fruitiness of black and red raspberries. With time and pizza, the wine really opened and displayed a complexity of plum, leather and medium tannins. Recommended with heavy, fatty foods and a good one hour decant.
