tart dark fruit, benefits a lot from at least 1 hour of decanting or in the glass, delicious with pizza

Going slowly down the Brunello rabbit hole. Probably opened too early, think this needs another 5-10 years for the tannins and acidity to soften and integrate. After a lot of time and aeration though, could start to see potential here. Very lean wine, bright acidity, a hint of sour cherry and raspberry left me wanting more body and fruit.

Very classical brunello with all elements in the right corner. Modest but intriguing red fruits, pretty tannines and a decently long finish. 100,- + @ Pekelhaaring Amsterdam was maybe a 30,- off
