Crossing of Cabernet Franc and Merlot - Caberlot. Extremely rare bottle.
Rubine red colour. The notes of berberry, cranberry, black pepper. High alcohol, full body, complex, on its fruity side now... maybe you should keep this wine for 10 more years due to the reputation. But I expected more.

Mar 22nd, 2016A great new vintage for Carnasciale where obviously everything fell into place. Purity is as always the keyword here, and the quality of fruit, tannins, acidity and wood integration is seamlessly done. This might well be their best "second wine" to date. Considering this as an indication, then the Big Boy will most likely be off the charts.

Slamming. Loads of white pepper, with delicious fruit. Decanted for an hour or so ahead of time. Such a different and interesting wine!
