Shame on me for being impatient (worried about the vintage) and opening several bottles way early. This has come around. A potpourri of aromas with "forest" being most dominant. On the palate an onslaught of red and blue fruit , earth , cassis and minerals. Tannins that caress rather than punch. Big Pinot at its best.
