Unique taste. Not for everyone but I appreciated the spice with the fruit.

Deep ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity nose of blueberries, plums, currants, oak, vanilla, earth, metals, sweet strawberry pie, alcohol, spices, barnyard, green pepper and peppercorn.

Full bodied and smooth, with high acidity and nice legs.

Spicy on the attack with suppressed fruits. Tart and bone dry on the mid palate with blueberries, plums, sour cherries, strawberries, cranberries, earth, spices, leather, peppercorn and vegetable notes.

Medium plus on the finish, with extremely soft tannins, tart cherries and peppercorn.

This 100% Malbec from Mendoza, is not my taste. A new world wine with an old world feel, which I usually like, but not this time.

Some complexity here, but too savory for me. Unbalanced and too heavy on green peppers.

Grapes grown at 3200 ft elevation.
Aged for 8 months in oak barrels.

14% alcohol by volume.

Beautiful nose. Love the peppery bits on my tongue and the finish is beautiful.

Way better day 2. The wine opened up and softened its bite. Really nice tobacco notes. A great slow sipping wine.

Another terrific night of Malbec!
Smells of stewed fruit, prune, and crushed deseeded blackberry, mint and cacao,
Nice lingering finish of very well integrated oak.
