Definitely on the sweet side but not in a bad way. Had a glass while eating sharp jalapeño pimento cheese on rice crackers and was blown away by the pairing.

Well balanced with tannins to balance out the pretty big fruit up front. This wine is in no way " sweet" tasting but is "sweet" in the Bill and Ted vernacular.
