Icewine Niagara Peninsula Cabernet Franc

One word: Yummy! My new favorite ice wine! Red fruits. Medium sweet. Excellent delicate finish.

Very good iced red wine. If you're new to ice red wines I would recommend you start from here. Low tannin and medium sweet (compared to other ice wines).

👁 Clear, deep garnet.
👃 Notes of jammy red fruit, cinnamon, cloves.
👅 Sweetness is a tad overwhelming. Difficult to detect more subtle flavours, although it has nice structure and tannins expected from a red.
✍️️ Interesting experience to sample an ice wine made from a red grape, but ultimately not within my personal preference.
