2010 vintage. Extremely aromatic! High toned rose, guava, strawberry, raspberry and more.. Complex. Well structured, though not austure. Simply beautiful! A delight to smell. So awesome, you've may have never smelled anything like it. I feel very lucky to been able to enjoy this..

Very tight wine, was actually rejected after I gave two guys a taste (the approval) and glasses. I even mentioned decanting because of the youth+power+slow aging vintage but they wanted it now. Out of the bottle it had some ripper tannin and acid, bricks, some florality, rotting strawberry, sorrel, basil, lots of truffle on the back palette plus some funk on the nose and palette. Just overly powerful which makes sense for a Monforte Barolo. Moving forward two days I almost sell this twice as a special but nobody takes due to the price. I take a whiff to check on it and there's no funk, more resolved tannins, levels of unparalleled roses and amareno and maraschino cherry and a slight diminished description to all the notes above to this very vivid wine. I share an ounce with the staff and got a coworker to buy a glass for after work with me to finish the bottle off. Hands down the best Barolo I've had yet🌹

Dark cherry and chocolate. Floral on the nose but savory on the palate. Very fine and firm tannins. Beautiful!
