A very nice matured Barolo, perfect evolution and state of maturation, slight fine fruit on the background with tertiary profile aromas and spicy touch - a great classic 😃👍

Tasty, but hot, and a little thin. I'd suggest a several hour decant at this age.

Drank on 15 Oct 2013 in HK @ Otto e Mezzo. Rather powerful and went very well with the steak.

I opened it in the morning and tannin was still strong that night. After an hour decanting confirmed why Barolo is such a good buy for the cellar.

Not the great wine I expected. I sampled this at scavino a few years ago, scored a bottle. Rather tannic, fair enough. Never@blossomed nor bloomed. Sad.
